Dr. Edwin Choy
Director, Sarcoma Oncology Program, Massachusetts General Hospital and Associate Professor of Medicine, Harvard Medical School
Dr. Choy is the Director of Sarcoma Research at the Division of Hematology Oncology at the Massachusetts General Hospital. He specialized in the medical management of patients with sarcomas, gastrointestinal stromal tumors, chordomas, and desmoid tumors. Dr. Choy completed his medical doctorate at New York University, followed by residency at Massachusetts General Hospital, and fellowship at both Brigham and Women's Hospital, and Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
Dr. Choy works closely with a team of world class surgical, orthopedic, and radiation oncologists as well as connective tissue pathologists and radiologists. He directs a clinical trials program at the Massachusetts General Hospital Center for Sarcoma and Connective Tissue Oncology that includes 9-12 active phase I-III clinical trials and also maintains an active scientific research program investigating diverse areas of sarcoma therapy.
Dr. Emily Keung
Assistant Professor, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center
Dr. Keung is Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Department of Surgical Oncology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Her clinical practice focuses on the care of patients with soft tissue sarcomas. Dr. Keung received her undergraduate degree from Harvard College and her medical degree from Harvard Medical School. She completed her general surgery residency and surgical critical care fellowship at Brigham and Women's Hospital and fellowship in Complex General Surgical Oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Her primary research focus has been to investigate the role of immunotherapy for the treatment of soft tissue sarcoma and to study the role of the epigenome in soft tissue sarcoma.
Dr. Ivan Chebib
Director, Cytopathology Laboratory and Fine-Needle Aspiration Biopsy Service, Director, Cytopathology Fellowship Program, Massachusetts General Hospital and Assistant Professor of Pathology, Harvard Medical School
Dr. Chebib received his MD from the University of Alberta, Canada in 2004, and completed his anatomic pathology residency in 2009 at the University of Calgary, Canada. He finished his cytopathology fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, MA in 2010.
He is board certified in anatomic Pathology and Cytopathology with the American Board of Pathology and certified as a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians.
Dr. Matthew Old
Professor, Director of the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center
Dr. Matthew Old is Director of the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center, where he treats patients with a wide range of cancer types.
He has authored more than 75 peer-reviewed publications and has been named a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
